About
A County Durham studio that builds websites to generate enquiries.
Dove Design Ltd is a web design agency based in County Durham. We work with UK service businesses: trades, studios, public-sector teams and local organisations who need a site that looks considered and actually brings work in.
Dave Dove
Director
Dave Dove has been designing and building websites since 2012, first as a freelancer, then as Dove Design Ltd from 2023.
He started the agency to work directly with UK service businesses: trades, studios, public-sector teams and local organisations who need a site that generates enquiries, not a process built for a large retainer.
You’re not passed from a sales desk to a junior. Dave handles strategy, design, build, hosting and training himself.
Work happens the way you already work: email, phone or video. In County Durham he can meet in person if that’s easier.
After launch he can stay on for hosting and show you how to update the site, so a copy change doesn’t mean waiting on an agency.
He grew up in County Durham and still lives here. Clients across the North East and the rest of the UK get the same person on the project, from the first call through to launch.
Why we exist
Too many service businesses in the North East are still represented by a site that was rushed, hard to update, or built for the agency rather than the customer. Dove Design exists to do the opposite: clear structure, fast pages, and a path from Google to a call or form.
Packages start from £800. Most small-business sites take 3–6 weeks.
How we work
01
Understand
We start with what you actually need the site to do: more enquiries, clearer services, a proper first impression, and who you’re trying to reach.
02
Design & build
Then we design and build a fast, mobile-first website you can update yourself. No jargon, regular check-ins, and a structure built for search as well as looks.
03
Launch & care
We handle go-live, then stay on for hosting, security and small updates if you want a care plan. You’re not left with a login and a shrug.
Work with us
Tell us what the site needs to do. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re a fit, and what it would take.
